MI Man Dances Naked On Highway, Pulls Out Gun: Police

RAPID CITY, MI — A Northern Michigan man was arrested Tuesday night after police said he was dancing naked with a gun in his hand on a highway.

Police said the naked man was dancing and doing push-ups with a 9mm handgun on southbound US-131, near mile mark 187, in Wexford County.

Witnesses told police the man, who is a legal gun owner, eventually emptied the ammunition from the gun, officials said.

Police took the 46-year-old man into protective custody, officials said. He was taken to a nearby hospital for a mental health evaluation.
