MI Ski Resort Offering Lantern-Lit Snowshoe Hike
A remote ski destination in the Upper Peninsula is offering guests a lantern-lit snowshoe hike down one of Michigan's highest mountains.
KEWEENAW COUNTY, MI — A remote ski destination in the Upper Peninsula is offering guests a lantern-lit snowshoe hike down one of Michigan's highest mountains.
Michigan’s Mt. Bohemia, located in Keweenaw County, will begin offering the hikes on Fridays starting Jan. 12, according to a Facebook post.
The hike costs $35 and includes access to the resort’s Nordic spa for the day, which features saunas, a steam room, a hot tub, heated pool and cold-plunge pool. All season pass holders for the ski hill or the Nordic spa may attend the snowshoe events for free.

Guests will ride the chairlift up the mountain and then enjoy a 1.75-mile snowshoe hike back down. Snowshoes are available for rent at the resort.
