MI Woman Charged After Stealing Political Signs Outside Home: Report

A woman is facing charges after stealing political signs outside a northern Michigan home, according to a report.

CHARLEVOIX COUNTY, MI — A woman is facing charges after stealing political signs outside a home in Walloon Lake in Charlevoix County on Sept. 6, according to a UpNorthLive report.

Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Tholen said the signs were recovered and the woman was charged with larceny, according to a report.

"The campaign signs that were recovered belong to a candidate for President, a candidate for the United States Senate, a candidate for Charlevoix County Register of Deeds, a candidate for Emmet County Clerk, and a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives," Tholen said in a statement.
