MI Woman Wins $6M Jackpot On Scratch-Off Ticket: Lottery

GENESSE COUNTY, MI — A Genesse County woman hit the top prize worth $6 million on a scratch-off ticket, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

The lucky 69-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning $300,000,000 Diamond Riches ticket at the Pure Market located at 8475 Main Street in Whitmore Lake, officials said.

She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $4.1 million, rather than 30 annuity payments for the full amount, officials said. She plans to save her winnings.

Players have won more than $278 million playing $300,000,000 Diamond Riches, which launched in July 2022, officials said.

Each $300,000,000 Diamond Riches ticket is $50 and offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $50 up to $6 million, officials said.

More than $54 million in prizes remain, including one $6 million top prize, 15 $50,000 prizes and 142 $2,500 prizes, officials said.
