Michigan State Apologizes For Photo Of Hitler On Jumbotron Before Game
Hitler's photo on the big screen was displayed around an hour before kickoff Saturday along with the answer to a pregame trivia question.

EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University Athletics has issued an apology after its Jumbotron showed an image of Hitler at Saturday's Michigan Wolverines vs. Michigan State Spartans game, sparking outrage across social media.
Hitler's photo on the big screen was displayed around an hour before kickoff along with the answer to a pregame trivia question that asked about his birth country, according to accounts shared online.
"MSU is aware that inappropriate content by a third-party source was displayed on the video board prior to the start of tonight’s football game," MSU Associate Athletic Director Matt Larson shared in a statement Saturday. "We are deeply sorry for the content that was displayed, as this is not representative of our institutional values."

School officials added that MSU will no longer use the third-party source and "will implement stronger screening and approval procedures for all video board content in the future."
Michigan beat Michigan State 49-0 during Saturday's game.
