Rifle-Wielding Boys Enter Michigan Business, Run From Police: MSP
A group of boys and one adult were arrested Saturday night after they entered a Flint store armed with rifles, Michigan State Police said.

FLINT, MI — A group of boys and one adult were arrested Saturday night after they entered a Flint store armed with rifles and fled from police, Michigan State Police said.
All five were charged with felony weapons offenses and other felony crimes, police said.
Police said the group, armed with rifles, went into a store at 8:30 p.m. on the corner of Miller Road and Knight Avenue, which is where a liquor store is located.

Michigan State Police did not specify if the group tried robbing the store, but said officers chased the group after they left the store.
After a short vehicle pursuit, the group tried to run away but were quickly were captured by state troopers, police said. Troopers also recovered three illegal guns, police said.

Three of the males involved had recently been arrested on previous weapon offenses, police said.
