SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Heavy rain with thunderstorms are likely across southeastern Michigan amid warmer temperatures this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs across southeastern Michigan will comb toward 60 degrees Monday, before multiple rounds of rain move into the area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The first round of rain showers will move into southeastern Michigan overnight and blanket the region throughout the morning hours when temperatures climb toward 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain showers will then begin to dissipate in the afternoon before a second wave of rain moves into southeastern Michigan, this time bringing isolated thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters warned the stronger storms could carry isolated wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour along in the afternoon hours between 2 and 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters warned areas between Interstate 75 and US 23 were under the greatest risk for slight severe weather Tuesday. Most of southeastern Michigan is under a marginal (level 1 of 5) for severe weather Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Any lingering rain showers or thunderstorms across southeastern Michigan will clear the area by Tuesday night, leading to clear skies Wednesday, but temperatures fall back below 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures across southeastern Michigan will stay mild for the rest of the week and through Easter weekend, though there is another chance for rain Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
