MICHIGAN — Most of Michigan is under a wind advisory through midnight Friday as strong wind gusts could reach up to 55 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
Almost all of lower Michigan, including southeastern Michigan, and parts of the eastern Upper Peninsula have seen wind gusts reach up to 30 miles per hour Friday morning along with rain in some areas, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters warned the gusts will get stronger and reach up to 55 miles per hour by the afternoon hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Widespread rain showers will linger in lower Michigan throughout the afternoon hours Friday as temperatures struggle to hit the 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
The rain should clear out of Michigan by Saturday morning as temperatures climb toward the 60s under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
