Trump Holding 2 MI Campaign Events Friday: How To Watch

The former president will first speak in West Michigan, before holding a town hall in the Detroit area Friday evening.

MICHIGAN — Former President Donald Trump is holding two campaign events in Michigan Friday.

The former president will first speak at 2 p.m. at FALK Productions, a manufacturer in Walker, which is in the Grand Rapids area.

Trump will then depart for Warren where he will hold a town hall at 6 p.m. at Macomb Community College, located on 12 Mile Road.

Trump's last Michigan visit came last week in Flint where he held a town hall that was largely focused on the auto industry and the economy.

The campaign events come just after Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib, who is Muslim and a Yemeni immigrant, endorsed Trump in the presidential race.

The two planned Michigan stops also come a week after Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris shared a stage with Oprah Winfrey in Farmington Hills where the two tackled several hot-button issues, such as the cost of living, abortion and gun ownership.

Michigan election officials began mailing out absentee ballots Thursday.
