Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Walz Will Be In MI This Week
The late week campaign stops will be the first in a series of stops through multiple battleground states for the Harris-Walz team.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will make a couple campaign stops in Michigan this week, according to campaign officials.
Walz will arrive at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Thursday evening and hold a campaign rally that evening in Grand Rapids, according to campaign officials.
He will then visit Lansing Friday morning before leaving for a campaign stop in Wisconsin, according to campaign officials.

Walz's visit to Michigan will come just days after the first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump. That debate is scheduled for Tuesday in Philadelphia.

This will also be Walz's first solo visit to Michigan this week. He was with Kamala Harris back in August when the two spoke at the Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus. Harris also spoke in Detroit on Labor Day.
President Joe Biden visited the Ann Arbor area last Friday and signed a new executive order that aims to boost middle-class working families.
Former President Donald Trump has also been in Michigan a lot lately, including his recent visit to Potterville nearly two weeks ago.
