• Shake Shack, CAVA among new tenants coming to 'the hill' in Allen Park (freep.com subscription) — New restaurants and shops including Shake Shack, CAVA, Jersey Mike’s, Honeygrow, and a massive El Car Wash are coming to Allen Park’s Fairlane Green, also known as “the hill.” Construction on the latest phase is underway, with openings expected by year’s end and traffic improvements planned in coordination with the city and Wayne County. 
• Five Below agrees to pay $179,500 settlement over alleged Michigan pricing violations (cbsnews.com) — Allen Park shoppers who visit Five Below should know the chain agreed to pay $179,500 and tighten its pricing practices after Michigan found items ringing up higher than shelf labels. About half the affected stores are in southeast Michigan, including Allen Park, and will now face stricter audits and staff training to protect customers.
