• 190-acre wildfire in Presque Isle County almost totally contained (abc12.com) — Fire crews from the DNR’s Atlanta Unit are helping contain the 190-acre Tomahawk Lake wildfire in Presque Isle County, which is now about 90% contained and not threatening homes. Cooler, humid overnight weather slowed the spread, and firefighters will keep monitoring and dousing hot spots to ensure the blaze stays within containment lines.
