Authorities say a custodian reported seeing her husband, a political radio host, using her office computer during a county board meeting, and state officials have challenged her separate voter registration deletions.
   

• Michigan towns compete for $50K community grants (battlecreekenquirer.com) — Bellaire is in the running for a Consumers Energy Foundation grant with its playful “Rubber Duck Drop” project, competing against nine other small Michigan communities. If selected, the village could receive up to $25,000 to improve local public spaces and boost community pride, with winners announced after finalist presentations at a statewide rural development conference.
