• Man accused of going 100+ mph in fiery drunk-driving crash in Berkley that killed passenger (clickondetroit.com) — A Berkley neighborhood is reeling after a Sept. 7 late-night crash at Edgewood Avenue and Henley Street killed a 51-year-old passenger and seriously injured the driver. Police say the SUV was going over 100 mph and the driver's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit; he's now charged with operating under the influence causing death and due back in court Oct. 16.
