On Saturday, June 21, Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan will host its 8th annual The WALK, a fundraising event to foster "hope and support" for the families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders.
The WALK is a non-competitive, accessible, scenic walk, offering walkers of all ages a fun-filled and memorable day. Highlights include a picturesque route, special opening ceremonies, entertainment, lunch provided by Buffalo Wild Wings and Bagger Dave's, a water station located at the halfway mark, bounce houses, crafts, face painting and more!
There is a $30Â registration fee, and walkers are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100. In recognition of their efforts, those raising $100 or more will receive a commemorative WALK t-shirt and are eligible for other prizes. To assist walkers with pledge recruitment, the opportunity to create a personalized fundraising page and other recruitment tools will be available.
