
The Berkley School District community and beyond are invited to the 6th annual Read in the Park event on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 1-3 pm in the Berkley High School Collaborative Center (2325 Catalpa, Berkley MI 48072).
This FREE event is being co-sponsored by Book Beat, the Berkley School District and the Berkley Area PTA Council.
Read in the Park is an opportunity to connect students with authors and foster a love of reading.

This year, Read in the Park presents:
- 1:20-1:45 pm: Lisa Wheeler, "The Pet Project" & "Dino-Football"
- 1:55-2:25 pm: Ruth McNally Barshaw, "Ellie McDoodle" series, with a mini doodle lesson
- 2:30-3 pm: Bryan Chick, "The Secret Zoo"
