It is once again time for the Burton Elementary School Ice Cream Social. This year’s event will be Friday, May 10th from 5:30-8:30pm. This fun-filled evening features games, a dunk tank, inflatables, face painting, entertainment as well as food, drinks, and ice cream. This traditional PTA social is a fundamental part of the school’s fundraising efforts. Money raised from this annual event will help purchase needed classroom equipment such as books, computers, and teacher supplies.
YOUR BUSINESS CAN BE A PART OF THIS EFFORT BY BECOMING AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL SPONSOR.
Each year attendance is approximately 1,000 parents, children, and community members. The Ice Cream Social is promoted throughout the month of April, leading up to the event in May. Over 500 Burton families receive multiple emails and take home copy notices, which boldly list sponsors. In addition all business names are displayed on a banner throughout the event.
