Baker College’s Allen Park campus has honored four instructors with Teaching Excellence Awards, the first time the awards have been given by the school. The awards were presented at Honor’s Night ceremonies May 19 and June 2.

Recipients of the 2017 Teaching Excellence Awards are:

  • Christopher Rogers, Ph.D., of Detroit – interdisciplinary studies program.
  • Jason Baker, BSN, RN, of Lincoln Park – nursing program.
  • Mohamed Tanana, of Dearborn – health services administration program.

“The success of education at every level is dependent upon those who teach,” said Kristine L. Barann, CPA, Baker College of Allen Park president. “We are particularly fortunate to have many outstanding faculty. This special recognition is for those who have shown exemplary commitment, routinely going above and beyond for their students.”
