Berkley Public Safety Department Collects More Than 10K Diapers

The Berkley Public Safety Dept partnered with The MOMS Club of Berkley to collect diapers for the NPO Judson Center.

From The City Of Berkley: In this season of giving, generous donors supported the Holiday Diaper Drive benefiting children and families in need in southeastern Michigan. The City of Berkley Public Safety Department is pleased to announce that more than 10,000 diapers were collected during the 19-day initiative. Sgt. Justin Frost was instrumental in getting city departments involved in this effort that was organized by The MOMS Club of Berkley. Collection bins were placed in Berkley’s Community Center, Library, City Hall, and Public Safety Building.

On December 20th, the final diaper delivery was made to the Judson Center, a nonprofit agency that provides services to children and adults impacted by abuse, neglect, autism, developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Peggy Kerr, Judson Center representative, said “We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, and want to thank all that supported this important effort.”
