Berkley Resident Roger Blake Among Snyder Appointees
The AT&T employee will serve on the 21st Century Infrastructure Commission.

Berkley resident Roger Blake is among 27 recent appointees to Gov. Rick Snyder's 21st Century Infrastructure Commission.
The team will be tasked with generating a comprehensive vision for Michigan's infrastructure needs and priorities that will guide planning well into the future.
Blake, regional vice president for government and education solutions at AT&T, is among 15 gubernatorial picks. The remaining members were either selected by legislators or statewide department heads.

“Ensuring that we maintain safe and cost effective access to all types of infrastructure in the decades ahead is critical to everyone’s future here in Michigan," Blake said. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with this group of committed leaders from across the state to develop a comprehensive, coordinated, and effective long-term vision that will guide strategic infrastructure planning, investment, and prioritization and I am glad that our state’s cyber infrastructure is included for consideration."
Commission members come from diverse backgrounds and have expertise in a variety of areas including municipal planning, communication and technology and waste water treatment and drainage.

The commission will finish its work before the end of the year and the appointment will expire when the work is done.
