COMMUNITY WARMED UP NEIGHBORS!

For a fourth consecutive year, NorthPointe Foot & Ankle joined the Berkley Senior Center and the Berkley Red Hats in collecting new gloves, hats, scarves and socks for all ages.  The drive was held November 25 – December 13.

“We want to thank all of our patients and community members that contributed to the success of this year’s donation drive,” said Dr. Lee Hoffman, podiatrist at NorthPointe Foot & Ankle. “We also want to acknowledge and thank the Berkley Senior Center and Berkley Red Hat teams for their support of the drive and their effort in getting these donations to those that really need them.”

Hundreds of pieces were collected from the community. Many of them were handmade knit accessories. The gifts were distributed to those less fortunate in the community the week of December 16th.  Recipients included students in the Berkley School District.
