We hope you will set aside the afternoon of Sunday, May 5 to help us in this wonderful endeavor. Our Berkley Crop Walk against Hunger, registration begins at 1:30 pm, and the walk begins at 2 pm. The walk begins and ends at Greenfield Church and walkers can choose either a one mile or five mile route, with stops along the way at three participating churches. Together we have raised over $180,000 through these walks. A reminder that 25% of the money raised stays local for The Welcome Inn and South Oakland Shelter. The remainder goes to Church World Service for its outstanding work in hunger relief and developmental assistance here in the U.S. and abroad.
