Family Shabbat Pesach

Join us for a Family Friendly Shabbat Service and kosher for Passover dinner, catered by Morrison Senior Dining in Oak Park. The program will be led by Rabbi Robert Gamer and our special guest, Jason Bendinelli, co-owner of Back to the Roots in Chelsea, MI. The special topic of the night will be “Human Slavery, A Modern Day Problem.” Jason will discuss a form of modern-day slavery – Human Trafficking, and Rabbi Gamer will share insights on what our Jewish tradition teaches us about dealing with emotional and physical “slavery.” The program for young children will include a variety of age-appropriate activities. $20 per adult; $10 per child 4-12; Children 3 and under are free. $55 per family maximum.  Call the synagogue office, (248) 547-7970 not later than Monday, April 9 to make reservations.
