GENE KELLY: THE LEGACY in Berkley!

In a few short weeks, we'll be hosting the wife of Broadway and Film Legend Gene Kelly with her one-woman-show!

Hello everyone!

This is Eric Gelb on behalf of the Drama Department at Berkley High School. In a few short weeks, we’ll be hosting the wife of Broadway and Film Legend Gene Kelly with her one-woman-show. It is truly a “can’t be missed” opportunity. Please join us and spread the world about this exciting touring production that will be making a special stop right here in Berkley.

Broadway and Film Legend Gene Kelly brought an unparalleled and astonishing grace to the art of performing. His engaging on-stage (and screen) personality is so accessible we feel like we know him. In fact, we know very little.

In her unique, live one-woman show, Patricia Ward Kelly (his wife and biographer) gives us the story. Taking audience behind the scenes, she presents an intimate portrait of this innovative artist who continues to delight and inspire audiences, decades later.

Using brilliant film clips, previously unreleased audio recordings, personal keepsakes and stories he shared with her over their decade together, Patricia Kelly guides us on an unforgettable journey into the life and heart of a man who changed the look of dance on film and became one of the world’s most beloved and iconic stars in “Gene Kelly: The Legacy” - An Evening with Patricia Kelly.
