Presidents Day: What's Open, Closed

Presidents Day is Monday, and aside from mega-sales at furniture stores and blowout deals at mattress warehouses, it's a federal holiday and means most government offices will be closed.

Here’s a quick look at what’s affected on Presidents Day in Berkley and Huntington Woods.

• City offices in Berkley and Huntington Woods will be closed. 
• The Berkley Public Library will be closed, but the Huntington Woods Public Library will be open.
• Trash collection will be delayed one day in Berkley. However, there will be no delay of trash collection in Huntington Woods.
• There will be no mail delivery in either community.
• Emergency services are not affected by the holiday in either community.
• Schools are closed for midwinter break.
