had 90 students participate in the 54th annual Michigan Mathematics Prize Competition this past October. For the past two years, Seaholm had a record 11 students qualify for Part II of the exam. This year, they have a new record: 16 Seaholm students have qualified for Part II—Edward Adams, Samuel Anderson, Nathaniel Beier, Elizabeth Gunckle, Sophie Hardig, Filip Jankovic, Russell Ladd, Katherine Lobaza, Michael MacFarlane, Paul Myers, Boyce Oudersluys, Kathleen Schaaf, Megan Smith, Bradley White, Julie Woo and Trevor Zeffiro.
These students are among the top 1,000 out of 10,o00 in the state of Michigan who chose to take the exam.
