The biggest project to date, a six mile stretch along Lincoln Avenue, could be ready by summer, City Engineer Paul O’Meara said.

Existing streets are used in most cases, and the system relies on a series of directional signs and pavement markings containing a bike symbol and arrow that remind motorists to share the road with cyclists.
