Cancer remains the leading medical cause of death for children. Each year, 15,780 children are diagnosed with cancer. Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation is funding important research at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Wayne State University to find a cure.

According to Jeffrey Taub, M.D., Division Chief of Oncology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, “Donations for childhood cancer research are critical. The amount of federal funds devoted to childhood cancer is very small compared to adult research.”
