Dr. T. Colin Campbell to Speak at Groves High School May 25

PBNSG hosts author of groundbreaking "China Study" on connection between diet & disease

Internationally renowned authority on plant-based nutrition T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., will speak at Birmingham Groves High School on Friday, May 25. The lecture is presented by Plant Based Nutrition Support Group (PBNSG).

For decades Dr. Campbell has been at the forefront of nutrition education and research. His groundbreaking work "The China Study" is one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted, drawing a direct and powerful connection between animal protein and cancer and other diseases. Dr. Campbell will share key insights gathered over 50 years’ experience in plant-based nutrition.

"You need to know the truth about food and why eating the right way can save your life," says the esteemed scientist, author and Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University.

A question-and-answer session follows the talk.

In addition to coauthoring "The China Study: Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health" and writing the New York Times bestseller "Whole" and "The Low-Carb Fraud," Dr. Campbell is featured in several documentaries including "Forks Over Knives," "Eating You Alive," "Food Matters" and others. He founded the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and the online Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate in partnership with eCornell.

“It’s a rare chance to hear and be inspired by this pioneer of plant-based medicine,” says Paul Chatlin, founder of PBNSG.

Dr. Campbell’s May 25 talk takes place from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the Groves High School Auditorium, 20500 W. 13 Mile Rd. in Beverly Hills. Tickets are $20 in advance at pbnsg.org and $25 at the door until sold out.

PBNSG is a nonprofit organization dedicated to evidence-based education and advocacy of plant-based whole-food nutrition and an active lifestyle, to help prevent or reverse chronic disease and achieve optimal health.
