Everything was delicious but I particularly enjoyed the Platinum Blonde Lager – which was slightly sweet, smooth and not too heavy. I also loved the pretzel sticks, which were fluffy, salty and delicious and also came with a yummy sweet mustard. They guys in our group went crazy over the Norm’s Raggedy Ass IPA and the Nightmare on Eaton burger – which was so spicy they were sweating by the end of the meal.
After our delicious dinner, we were treated to a tour of their on-site brewery – which was mind-blowing. It is one of the top 10 largest breweries in the state and I can see why…their facility is absolutely massive! Packed with state-of-the-art custom machinery, that in conjunction with their renowned brewmaster, makes award winning brewskis!
As I approached the restaurant I was intrigued by the outdoor patio, the open windows and the sound of chatter spilling out onto the streets of Birmingham. I knew I would love this place before I even walked in.

The house brewed beer ranges from $5-$12 dollars, appetizers range from $6-$8 and entrees are priced between $10-$15.
The vibe at this place is my favorite part. The restaurant is so open and airy and the fact that you share tables with fellow patrons adds an exciting element to the dining experience. The outdoor beer garden is enchanting with it’s white twinkly lights and a fireplace. During my night at Griffin Claw I actually felt like I had been transported to Europe for an evening of delicious food, fabulous drinks and wonderful company.
