Macomb County Man Arrested After Trying To Meet Minor For Sex: Prosecutor
The man was actually chatting with an undercover agent and was arrested when he arrived at the meeting location, prosecutors said.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI — A Macomb Township man is facing charges after trying to meet a minor for sex, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office.
Angelo Lupo, 49, was charged with accosting a child for an immoral purpose (four-year felony), using a computer to commit a crime (maximum sentence of four to less than 10 years) - (seven-year felony) and possession of cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic under 25 grams (four-year felony).
His next court date is scheduled for May 11.

Prosecutors said Lupo planned to meet a person he believed was a 15-year-old minor on Nov. 13, 2025. They said the meeting was for a sexual encounter.
When Lupo arrived to meet the minor, officers were waiting and arrested him, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors did not reveal the meeting location.
"Protecting children is not optional, it is the core duty of any just society," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said. "Justice demands that those who prey on the vulnerable are identified, prosecuted, and held fully accountable. As prosecutors, we will use every lawful tool available to ensure predators face consequences and our communities remain places where families can live without fear."
