AAA Dare to Prepare for Teens and Parents

Dare to Prepare is a pre-permit seminar that takes parents and young teens through the steps necessary to obtain a permit and a driver’s license. The goal of this award-winning program is to promote safer teen driving by increasing a young driver’s exposure to traffic safety issues while expanding parental involvement in the process of learning to drive. Each Dare to Prepare seminar covers: State and national statistics on teen driving, graduated driver licensing components, state requirements for obtaining a driver’s license, parents’ roles and responsibilities what to look for in a driving school, and  practical tips for teaching teens to drive.

Rachel Wilson of AAA, received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She is a Driver Education Instructor, certified through the state of Michigan, and a certified Driver Improvement Instructor. She was awarded 2008 New Driver Educator of the year by MDTSEA.
