Over two million people in the U.S. are diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This interactive class focuses on success strategies for coping with the illness, and how to respond to family members or friends who struggle with mental illness and addictions, especially those who refuse to seek help.
Instructor Jacqueline Castine, a community education specialist for the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority speaks from her own experience with recovery from chemical dependency, codependency and bipolar disorder; and as the mother of 2 adult children who have experienced these difficulties. She is the author of “I Wish I Could Fix It, But,” for sale in class for $14 (optional).
