Michigan Christmas Treats: 3 Children's Authors and Their Books

A trio of home state writers talk about their holiday season books, as well as upcoming projects. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Speakers are:

  • Jane Monroe Donovan of Pinckney, author and illustrator of eight children's books from Sleeping Bear Press. She'll discuss Winter's Gift and Small, Medium and Large.
  • Matt Faulkner, author-illustrator of The Night Henry Ford Met Santa and about 30 other books.
  • Susan Collins Thomas, who created The Twelve Days of Christmas in Michigan. Readers travel with Katie and her cousin to see Motor City, play hockey, drive down the country's first concrete highway, tour  lighthouses and ride in a horse-drawn sleigh.
