Songs of the Great Lakes Sailors

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, and Joe Grimm, author of "Windjammers: Songs of the Great Lake Sailors" will be on hand at the Community House to discuss stories of the scooners, voyages and diasters on the Great lakes. Grimm recorded many traditional sailor songs while writing the book and visiting lakefront saloons.  Attendees will be able to purchase the book at the event.
