Four State Qualifiers in Seaholm Boys Swim and Dive Win Against Troy

Seaholm Boys Varsity Swim and Dive team hosted Troy High on Wednesday December 21, 2016 for its first home swim meet. Seaholm won 119-67 with 11 first place finishes in 12 events. Four Seaholm swimmers achieved state cuts qualifying them for the MHSAA Division 2 State Championship in March 2017. Ryan Lawrence qualified for two events, 50 yard (22.00) and 100 yard (48.29) freestyle. Joe Girdler qualified for 200 yard freestyle (1:49.77). Both Michael Arpasi (53.01) and Nolan Grout (54.99) qualified for 100 yard butterfly. Seaholm’s next swim meet will be the Spartan Invitational on Saturday, January 7 in Battle Creek.
