Organ and Orchestra Concert
Organ and Orchestra Concert featuring the Poulenc Organ Concerto. First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham. October 18th 5:00 pm.
Andrew Herbruck, Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, presents his annual organ concert featuring the magnificent Nichols and Simpson pipe organ. This year, the highlight is the Poulenc Organ Concerto-one of the most dramatic pieces you will ever hear! Dr. Elliott Moore, conductor of the Detroit Medical Orchestra, will conduct a 20 piece string orchestra. Other works include arrangements for organ and saxophone and organ and voice.
