Parking in Birmingham

Commissioner Nickita has suggested that walking an extra block won’t hurt. That’s fine for the younger people and I know Birmingham is trying to appeal to the younger set. Where however, does that leave us older citizens?  Not all of us have the stamina of youth.  The few and far between handicap parking spaces are just that.  Not everyone wants to use valet parking, which takes up street parking spots.  I hope the City comes up with an equitable solution.
