Parkinson's Disease Foundation to Present Online Seminar on Challenges of Advanced Parkinson's and Tips for Better Living on Tuesday, June 23

WHAT: How can people live better with advanced Parkinson’s disease? Find out by joining “Challenges of Advanced Parkinson’s and Tips for Better Living,” the final PD ExpertBriefing in a series of six online seminars hosted by the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF). Qualifying health professionals have the opportunity to earn free continuing education credits.
WHO: The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation® (PDF®) supports the scientific research and ideas that will improve the lives and futures of people who are touched by Parkinson’s disease. Since its founding in 1957, PDF has invested more than $149 million in research, education and advocacy programs. This PDF PD ExpertBriefing will be presented by Peter Fletcher, M.B.Ch.B., M.Sc., Consultant Physician, Department of Old Age Medicine, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom.
WHY: As many as one million Americans live with Parkinson’s disease, a chronic and progressive movement disorder for which there is no cure. Each person’s journey with Parkinson’s is unique, but as the disease progresses, symptoms become increasingly difficult to manage. This seminar will provide practical tips to help people with Parkinson’s live better in the advanced stages of the disease.
