TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants To Host Fundraiser Benefiting Make-A-Wish® Michigan

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Livonia, Mich.-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, announced today that it will host a Make-A-Wish Michigan Stars for Wishes fundraiser. To further benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan, TSFR will donate $25,000 in addition to guest donations raised on Sunday, May 21 to support the cause. TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak made the announcement.

With a goal of raising $75,000, all 65 Applebee’s, 25 Olga’s Kitchen, eight MOD Pizza and five Del Taco restaurants owned and operated by TSFR will participate in this one-day fundraising event. All guest and TSFR donations collected throughout the day will be earmarked to help Make-A-Wish Michigan continue to grant wishes to children battling life-threatening illnesses.

“With nearly 800 medically eligible Michigan children awaiting their wishes from Make-A-Wish, we are proud to be long-time supporters of this inspiring organization and to host this campaign,” said Pasciak. “With the average value of a Michigan wish being $10,000, we know that it is critical for our communities to come together to raise funds to help them grant the wishes for these deserving children. We hope that those in our community will join us to make this endeavor a success.”

In exchange for a $1 or $5 donation at any of TSFR’s Applebee’s, Olga’s Kitchen, MOD Pizza or Del Taco restaurants, guests will receive a coupon good for a free item from a select menu. The following coupons will be given in exchange for donations:

The Make-A-Wish Michigan expects to grant 440 wishes this year to Michigan children with life-threatening medical conditions. They believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer.
