Neighbor News

Yes, even I have been guilty of this at Lincoln and Woodward.

Hoping the car ahead of you will move so you won't be sitting in the intersection. That's the first half, next, is the fire station.

Adams Road in particular, especially at rush hour in the late afternoon. Maybe the signs are too near the turn or maybe more could be added. I hope so. Someone's life may depend on it. People leaving the Post Office and turning south to get onto Adams Road and probably others also. You either don't see or choose not to see the 'DON'T BLOCK FIRE STATION EXIT'. Yet, there you are, all in a row, preventing the fire trucks from getting to an emergency. And if it's your house on fire or a medical emergency? Don't you 'exit blockers' understand the gravity of your thoughtlessness? Try. Really hard. Someone you love could die because the rescuers couldn't get there on time and it just might be your fault.
