Bloomfield Hills Police Find Meth Lab In Car

Police found equipment to make methamphetamine when they stopped Troy man for careless driving, according to report.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI — A 36-year-old Troy man stopped earlier this month in Bloomfield Hills had all the equipment needed to mix up a batch of methamphetamine, according to a police report.

The man is in jail in Wayne County now, where he was wanted on a dangerous drugs felony warrant and for driving with a suspended license, according to a report by The Birmingham Eccentric

Police discovered the equipment, along with a small amount of meth, in an Aug. 11 traffic stop for careless driving in the vicinity of Hickory Grove and Opdyke Road.

He was taken to the Wayne County Jail on Friday, Aug. 19. Bloomfield HIlls authorities are waiting for lab results before charging the man.
