Around the World in 12 Days wine series continues with a tour of the Rhone Valley, home to the famous villages of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Hermitage and Gigondas. Explore the aromatic and austere white wines of Viognier and Grenache, as well as the powerfully refined Grenache and Syrah based reds – all lending a true perspective to the classically made wines of the region. A few of the highly regarded producers featured are Domaine du Pegau, Domaine Bois de Boursan and Domaine du Grand Tinel.
Executive Chef Travis Waynick prepares a light offering of regionally influenced foods that are sure to be a perfect compliment to the wines.
