To celebrate the grand re-opening of the McDonald’s located at 520 East Walton (at Joslyn Avenue) in Pontiac, a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by McDonald’s owner/operator Sujit Datta and featuring local civic leaders and regional McDonald’s representatives will be held Friday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.
The newly renovated McDonald's will have a completely updated lobby with twice as many seats for guests. For added customer convenience, the restaurant will have a side-by-side drive-thru that will offer accurate and fast service. The restaurant also acts as a complimentary Wi-Fi hot spot where customers can access the Internet.
"It is an exciting to have this McDonald’s open again," said Datta. "Being a part of the Pontiac community has always been important to me and this re-opening will bring with it the every day quality and value our guests have come to love at McDonald’s. With the updated look, expanded dining area and side-by-side drive-thru, the restaurant will be a strong addition to the local community."
McDonald’s Chief Happiness Officer, Ronald McDonald, will make an appearance at the restaurant on December 16 at 3 p.m. to meet, greet and entertain guests of all ages.
