According to an affidavit filed in federal court by the FBI, Napier admitted that he began collecting child pornography about five years ago; viewed pornography daily; had created up to 200 videos, some of them transmitted to others; and often visited Internet chat rooms to meet girls aged 10-14, where he encouraged them “to pose in sexually explicit positions and/or expose themselves, and recorded videos of them.”
A federal magistrate judge ordered Napier held, and a detention hearing is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday.
