Feds: Wife Sent Child Porn to Turn On Husband

According to complaint in federal court, Oakland County couple sent child pornography to one another for "his sexual gratification."

An electronic trail of evidence led the FBI the home of an Oakland County couple accused of running a child pornography scheme, according to federal court documents.

According to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday, the electronic evidence that prompted the raid at the White Lake home of Colin and Anngela Boyle Sunday included sexually explicit video accessed from a child pornography website that showed a 2-month-old baby girl being molested by an adult male.

The Boyles are charged with producing, distributing, receiving and possessing child pornography, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Anngela Boyle admitted to investigators that she sent child pornography to her husband, a registered sex offender with prior convictions in both Oakland and Macomb counties, because it’s “the only thing that sexually excited [him],” FBI agent David Kotal wrote in an affidavit filed with the complaint.

“The transmission of child pornography between the couple is for the purpose of his sexual gratification,” he wrote.

During the raid, authorities also seized a small video camera with footage of a naked 1-year-old girl the Boyles reportedly know. Anngela Boyle told investigators that she and her husband had engaged the child and another 3-year-old boy in sexually explicit activity at least four times, according to the complaint.

The Boyles are in custody pending a detention hearing on Friday, when a federal magistrate will determine if they should be allowed to post bond or remain behind bars.
