Signs of an improved economy continue to show in Bloomfield Township, as another entrepreneur recently opened doors to a new business in a prime location.

Shankar Krishnan brings 14 years of experience in physical therapy along with a Master’s in Business Administration to launching Ascent Physical Therapist Specialists. He celebrated the grand opening with family, friends, colleagues, elected officials and other members of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce at a ceremony earlier this month.

“With state-of-the-art new equipment, hands-on interventions and a prime location, we’re excited to share our unique philosophy involving a holistic approach to pain control, improved physical function and ensuring continued wellness to Oakland County,” said Krishnan, a Chamber news release stated. “We also provide post discharge wellness and maintenance programs to help patients retain their health.”
