Girlfriend Choked, Pushed Multiple Times in Assault: Police

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A Bloomfield Township man who allegedly pushed and choked his girlfriend multiple times has been arrested on domestic violence charges, police said.

Jeremy Drummer, 35, had a blood alcohol content of .17 percent — more than twice the legal limit for driving in Michigan — at the the alleged assault.

Bloomfield Township police were called to the residence in the 900 block of Square Lake at 11:30 p.m. on April 8.

The victim was injured, police said, but did not disclose the extent of her injuries.

Drummer was arraigned on domestic violence charges before 52nd District Court Magistrate Judith Holtz, and he was released on a conditional personal bond, police said.
