Potbelly Sandwich Shop Opens in Bloomfield Hills

Potbelly Sandwich Shop announced today the opening of a new location in The Bloomfield Town Square Shopping Center at 2108 South Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills. Set to open on Tuesday, November 17th, the widely acclaimed neighborhood hangout will feature its toasty warm sandwiches, hand-dipped milkshakes, tasty made-to-order salads and live, local music, which make it “The Best Place for Lunch.”

Earning a reputation in neighborhoods across the United States for having delicious food, fun décor and local musicians performing, Potbelly shops are also well known for their friendly and lively people. Michael Wilson, the general manager of the new sandwich shop, has been with the brand for more than a year as an assistant manager.

“The community couldn’t be more excited about the opening of the new shop in Bloomfield Hills,” said Wilson. “Many of the families in the neighborhood have been to the nearby Potbelly Sandwich Shop locations. Now, they will have access to our signature sandwiches, shakes, salads and freshly baked cookies in their own backyard. We anticipate welcoming in an enthusiastic crowd as soon as we open.”

Known for its good vibes in addition to great sandwiches, live music has been a part of the Potbelly experience since the first shop opened in 1977. To celebrate the launch of the new location, Potbelly Sandwich Shop will host its traditional oven-warming event. The shop will donate 100 percent of proceeds from the pre-opening event to the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance, a non-profit committed to ending the killing of healthy and treatable homeless cats and dogs in Michigan animal shelters. The fundraising celebration will occur on Monday, November 16th between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for dinner.

The new Potbelly Sandwich Shop includes about 20 staff members, ranging from customer service to managers. The shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Delivery service will start a few weeks after opening and will be available Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with minimum orders of $25.
