Sky Foundation, Inc. to Hold Bigger and Better Women's Event for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

Sky Foundation, Inc. will hold their 3rd annual Women’s Event for pancreatic cancer awareness on Wednesday, May 18 at 5:30pm at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Come enjoy great conversation, a strolling dinner and wine, a research update and presentation, and complimentary valet parking!
A panel of exceptional experts will be discussing new treatments and research progress including Dr. Diane Simeone, MD, founding director of the University of Michigan Pancreatic Cancer Center, Howard Crawford, PhD, University of Michigan Pancreatic Cancer Center, Dr. Matthew Katz, MDAnderson, Dr. Philip Philip, Karmanos Cancer Institute, and Dr. Cyrus Piraka, Henry Ford Health System.

Sky Foundation is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization that was founded in June 2008 by Sheila Sky Kasselman, who is a survivor of pancreatic cancer. Sky Foundation’s governing and advisory boards are comprised of business, medical, and legal professionals who volunteer their time and dedicate their efforts toward raising funds for pancreatic cancer research and awareness.
